Economic inequities continue to widen the gap between the rich and the rest of the human population, while geopolitical maneuvering skyrockets the cost of living for individuals. All the while, societal polarization has driven the erosion of social cohesion, undercutting the efficacy of independent judiciaries and diminishing the strength of public institutions.
There are no quick solutions, and yet we no longer have the luxury of time. We must act, efficiently and effectively, both to preserve stability where it remains, and to build systems better than those which created our current state.
